The Mulberry 'Del Rey'

Hot on the heels of my previous post on Lana Del Rey, Vogue's facebook paged flashed up with a new bag inspired by their cover star. The 'Del Rey' launches in May and will be integrated as key part of the brand's Autumn/ Winter '12 collection when it goes on sale.

Lana said of this amazing honor, shared with Alexa Chung and obviously, the iconic Jane Birkin:

'I love the design, it's a perfect mix between old school Hollywood and contemporary style," she said. "It's an honour that such a classic and prestigious brand would name a bag after me.'

The bag is a similar shape to the Bayswater, but with a zip top and vintage feel, echoing a bowling bag design. 
It will come in all the standard Mulberry colours, and excitingly also berry colored matt and deer brown grainy print (Seen below). But the one that takes the biscuit for me, and is Lana's favourite, is the white ostrich leather.
